Angus Barn Chocolate Chess Pie

I found this recipe online after having a pie disaster using another recipe several years ago....it was incredibly easy to make and it came out perfect! This has become one of the most requested desserts by the Woodlief kiddos! I usually make 2 because it's so popular! -Claire

1 unbaked pie crust
1 stick of butter
2 squares baker's chocolate (semi-sweet)
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Melt butter and chocolate, mix with other ingredients, which have been blended together.

Pour into a pie shell and bake 35 minutes (no longer) at 350 degrees.

Top with whipped cream. (we didn't add whipped cream but Jonathan added ice cream to his slice! :-)
