This is Lisa's Mother-in-law's recipe but it's a family favorite!
1- Boil chicken; cut up and spread on bottom of 9” x 13” pan (about 3-4 cups) (or turkey)
2- Salt & pepper to taste.
3- Mix: 1 can each of cream of chicken soup, cream of potatoe soup and 1 c. chicken broth.
4- Pour soup mixture over chicken.
5- Mix and pour over other: 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 t. baking powder, 1 c. milk (add a little vinegar to milk).
6- Melt 1 stick butter and put on top.
7- Bake at 375 degrees until brown on top (50 minutes-1 hr.).
Note: Can also add 1 can drained mixed vegetables; add to soup mixture. (The general consensus is that this is better without vegetables mixed in, just serve some on the side!)
Freezes well after baking.
