Hot Artichoke Spread


My sister-in-law, Kim Brookmon, shared this recipe with me many years ago. It's a great appetizer! Enjoy! -Claire

1-8 1/2 oz. can artichokes, drained
1 cup mayo (I use Lite)
1 c. grated parmesan cheese (freshly grated, NOT the yucky powdered stuff)
dash garlic salt
dash Worcestershire sauce
Paprika
toasted slivered almonds (optional)

Mash artichokes with fork (or coarsely chop). Add mayonnaise, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly. Garnish with paprika and toasted almonds. Bake in a pie plate. Serve with triscuits.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
